Tapiz Winery will celebrate next year its tenth harvest!Throughout this time, we are proud to have met the goals that we set at the beginning: having a team of top level professionals, vinification with state own grapes of the best areas in a winery with advanced technology and achieve a good presence of our brand in both local and international markets. We have the honour to inform that Jean Claude Berrouet has agreed to collaborate with the winery with exclusivity for Argentina. Jean Claude was the first permanent winemaker of Petrus, he started in year 64 at age 22, vinifying harvest after harvest and positioning Petrus as one of the most prestigious wine worldwide. In 2007 he retired and was succeeded by his son, remaining as a consultant for the famous Winery of the Pomerol. We are extremely pleased that Jean Claude is not confined to try wines and suggest blends, he comes , with its extraordinary knowledge and experience in winemaking icons, to jointly develop the greatest potential of each one of our varietals , with accuracy, and thorough from the Vineyards to the Winery. We are convinced that his experience, combined with our people and infrastructure will allow to complement the strong personality and varietal identity of our high altitude wines with the elegance that distinguishes the wines of Jean Claude. Our quest, and challenge for the coming years is not imitating a style of the old world, we are proud of our style and want to be more refined in the excellence of wine making showing the best that Argentina can deliver. |
