The climate and soil of this properties, located between 1050 and 1300 meters above sea level (3444 to 4265 feet) give this wine special qualities which make it different from other traditional Malbecs.
Cold pre‐maceration takes place at 8șC for 5 days Fermentated in stainless steel tanks for approximately 15 days at 28șC then rests on lees for 16 days.
100% malolactic fermentation.
Aged for 14 months in French (75%) and American (52%) oak barrels of first and second use.
This Malbec has an intense violet color, typical of the Argentine Malbecs. Aromas of red mature fruit with a marked presence of flowers combined with touches of vanilla and chocolate. Ripe plum and raspberry, with a meaty note. Plenty of toast on the finish, but has solid fruit. Smooth and sweet with velvety tannins.
