VINEYARDS
The climate and soil of this property give special characteristics from high altitude vineyards (1350 meters above sea level / 4430 feet) to this variety differentiating it significantly from other traditional Malbec.
FERMENTATION
A cold pre-maceration takes place 8ºC for 5 days to extract color and aromas and post maceration for 20 days. Fermentated in stainless steel tanks for approximately 15 days at 28ºC. 100% malolactic fermentation done directly in first use French oak barrels.
CRIANZA
Aged for 24 months in first use French oak barrels. Stored in bottleat least for 12 months.
TASTING NOTES
This wine shows a deep purplish red color. On the nose are present delicate aromas of figs and dried red fruits, with hints of flowers and menthol. In the palate it has a sweet tannins of good density entrance and licorice notes with a long, creamy finish. A wine of complexity and unique balance.
